Naomi

Naomi is one of our most dependable foundation cows. Year after year she produces calves with the same sweet personalities, dependable size, and beautiful Highland look. Once a fiery little redhead, she’s now one of the first to greet us at the gate-especially if cookies are involved.

Opal

Dun Tipped Highpark · Chondro-

Born and raised at Xbar6 Ranch, Opal is out of one of our foundation cows, Pearl. Opal represents years of careful breeding. At 75% Highland, she carries the smaller frame genetics we strive for. We are excited to welcome Opal’s first calf in 2027.

Willow

Willow has always marched to the beat of her own drum, but we still love her. Born and raised at Xbar6 Ranch, she’s beginning to gain confidence, and we are confident she will be an amazing mother. Willow has beautiful hair, a perfect belt, and quality genetics we love. We can’t wait to see what she’ll produce when her first calf arrives in 2027.

Cocoa Bean

Cocoa Bean has one of those sweet faces that just makes you want to give her a big squeeze. She absolutely amazed with her first calf, a perfect little Chondro+ dun bull. Of course, we had to keep him. She has beautiful hair, a compact head, and that rich dun color that we all love.

Charlotte

Charlotte was born and raised right here at Xbar6 Ranch, and she has truly stolen all of our hearts. She is just the sweetest girl, always so gentle and calm. She earned Reserve Grand Champion as a heifer, but honestly, my favorite thing about her is how she knows her name and comes running over when you call her.

Licorice

You know that one cow who’s always looking for a little extra attention? That’s Licorice. She came into our lives by accident and quickly became part of the family. We keep as many of her heifer calves as we can because they consistently inherit her naturally small size and easygoing personality.

Chara

Chara has the incredible Beltie hair and petite frame we love, just like her mama, Licorice. She’s exactly why we keep daughters from this cow! Her first calf arrives in 2027, and we have a feeling she’s going to produce something truly special

Chai

Minature Hereford · Red· Chondro-

We love the Miniature Herefords in our program. They help reduce mature size while adding the gentle temperaments we value. Chai is no exception. She arrived timid enough to be dragged into the trailer, but now she quietly sneaks up for cookies. We can’t wait to see the calves she produces.

Saige

Saige has been such a pleasant surprise. She’s incredibly calm, laid back, and loves both people and treats. Her first calf had hair for days. With her beautiful head and compact, feminine build, she has become one of our favorite mama’s.

Fiona

Fiona is the last of the two original girls who started our dream of raising miniature cattle. She and her mama joined our ranch way back in 2018. Year after year, Fiona continues to amaze us with exceptional calves, producing some of the best bulls we’ve ever retained.
